Performing two operations with a single tool will usually reduce the manufacturing cost of a part. These Combined Tap and Drills are designed for this purpose. The drill section produces a hole correctly sized for approximately 75% thread. They can be used on multi-spindle or hand held drill operations. The 118° helical point eliminates the need for a center punch or center drilling. |
